Reparation Liability Tokens (RLT) are non‑monetary liability tokens — a claims ledger that records what is owed. RLTs are not money and are best kept non‑transferable (except to heirs or legal representatives). They track both tradeable obligations (e.g., cash payments) and untradeable obligations (e.g., services, land return, and items of cultural value). RLT is the current method under discussion and the primary focus at this time.
A separate Black Currency will be created for spending and exchange. RLT remains the audited record of liabilities; it is not the currency. Other methods may arrive later.
