Reparation Payouts

Information to read and consider in context.

Payout principles

• RLT is a non-monetary liability token (claim). Payouts settle those claims.
• Some claims are tradeable obligations (cash or money-equivalents).
• Other claims are untradeable and must be fulfilled in-kind (services, land return, access rights, items of cultural value).

Black Currency (separate from RLT)

A separate Black Currency will be created for spending and exchange. RLT remains the audited record of liabilities; it is not the currency. Conversion rules, if any, will be defined later by governance.
